ReplyDeleteI have always adored herringbone floors...we used it on our front walk way in brick. Thank you for pointing out the difference between chevron and herringbone...I never really stopped to consider the difference...your image cleared it right up! I love it all...but especially herringbone wood floors...too die for!

ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, YES! I love the herringbone pattern in hardwood floors...hardwood floors are so beautiful to begin with, so adding a gorgeous pattern just makes them all the more lovely!
ReplyDeleteHerringbone has taken over...in fabric, wallpaper and floors. It just adds interest to a room. I just specked a black splash for a client in herringbone yesterday!
