Well my friends, catastrophe hit this Tuesday. Our laptop has officially died and down with it went lots and lots of my photos. Enter sad face. I had most of them backed up on an external hard drive, but unfortunately had not exported any to it in MONTHS! Hmm, so bear with me as now I do not have a computer at home to blog on (unless I can talk hubs into letting me use his work laptop... just a little!) and no recent pictures.
However, I do still have the guest room pictures! A big thanks to my great friend, Candice, of Candice Lynn Photography for taking them!
The room is pretty much finished, and I've been excited to show you guys! I've posted a little about it {here} and {here}, but now it's time for the full reveal!

Your guest room is so cute! Congratulations.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry about your camera, but I'm glad that you had some back up.
Rachel, it looks fabulous! So warm and inviting - you did a great job! :)
ReplyDeleteI haven't exported photos to our external hard drive in months either... which means no Halle photos backed up!! Eeeeek! We can't find the USB cord for it... better get on that soon.
Beautiful job! I can't wait to get rid of our doors and switch them to something more white and six panel and nice. Love the pillows and bedding too! When can I come visit? ;)
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful guest bedroom! The white closet doors made such a difference--looks so nice! I also really love the mirror you have--it's so fun! Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely guest room! So pretty AND comfortable. How lucky to have a seamstress in the family.
ReplyDeleteLove it! Looks warm and inviting. The detail on the curtains is really great!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! Especially those suzani pillows!
ReplyDeleteWe just bought a house from the 1940's, but I'm pretty sure it was refinished in the 60's or 70's so out house looks a LOT like yours does/did! We are refinishing too, and our next big project is the kitchen! I'm so intimidated! I'll be posting pictures soon of the house! Have a good weekend! I love your updates!
ReplyDeleteI love the Suzani on those access pillows! Beautiful!

Absolutely gorgeous! Great job. I think I love the suzani pillows the most-est : ) I'll come stay in that room anytime!
ReplyDeleteYour guest room looks very welcoming and as usual, I love all the meaningful pieces..your mother-in-law has done some great pieces, too. We are unfortunately so dependent on technology generally and of course, for writing our blogs - I feel your pain..we are having issues with connections and I my laptop is slowing down quite a bit (waiting for a new one) so I have a flashdrive handy. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteYour guest room is definitely ready for guests. Such a fabulous room and everything looks so comfy and inviting. Love your drapes and pillows and the mirror is absolutely stunning. Beautiful room. Hugs, Marty

Ok now I'm spazzing a little bit and want to back up our photos now. I'm so sorry about your photos. Is there any chance of recovery? A neighbor up the street spilled something on their laptop but they were able to recover the photos. Thanks for this PSA - a reminder that everyone should get in order to save often. And love the suzani pillows in your guest room - they are so pretty!
ReplyDeleteThe pillows, the coverlet, the curtains! Oh I love all of the textiles. The room is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteWow! Count me in!!! :-)
ReplyDeleteStunning! So comfy and chic! I love it. The transformation is simply amazing!
