Are you guys loving Roomspiration as much as I am?
There are some seriously drool-worthy spaces out there in blogland!
I have only the highest expectations for today....

Read my post about progress and fabric sneak peek {here}.
This is what we started with...
As you know from {this post} we had our floors refinished before moving in and replaced all the trim throughout the house.
Here is some progress (if you can call it that)... looks like more of a mess to me.
(real) PROGRESS:
Custom pillows!
PROGRESS:
Custom curtains!
PROGRESS:
L-O-V-E
Entire room and full length photos to come!
I also bought this mirror a little while ago with intent to spray paint it.
This past Saturday I finally got around to it...
We feel SO CLOSE to checking the guest room off our list! I'm thrilled with how it's turned out.
Can't wait to show you when it's all complete!

We spent some time over the weekend working on the guest room. I really wanted this room to be fun and colorful. My goal is for it to have a cheery feeling but still be chic. All the furniture pieces were mine from childhood. The green coverlet went from our bed to the guest room after we went all white in the master (reveal to come Sept 30). But the guest room really came together when custom pillows and curtains were made (thank you Mrs. Debbie!). Have I mentioned I have the best MIL?
Well come Sunday night we were exhausted. I was hoping to share the full guest room reveal today, but you're just going to have to wait a little longer. I have a few more finishing touches and wanted to take photos with daylight. But I won't leave you completely hanging...
